4 steps for fast and effective Link Exchange

When I just started my SEO practice I spent a lot of time trying to build several backlinks for my websites using link exchange technique. In those days it was a really difficult task for me. While gaining more experience in SEO field I found method how to perform the link exchanging process really fast and easy. This approach consists of 4 steps listed below.

1. Find websites for link exchange. There are three basic methods for searching topical websites also interested in link exchange:

• Post your link exchange request at webmasters forums within the corresponding section (e.g. Digital Point Forum);
• Search for topical link exchange websites directories;
• (My favorite way!!!) Use google`s advanced search syntax. Just type the next search queries into the google search box:
  

  (intitle:”your_website_topic”)AND((links)OR(link exchange))AND((inurl:partners)OR(inurl:resources)OR(inurl:friends))

  or

  intitle:”your_website_topic Link Partners”

2. Email the webmasters. You should create templates of letters for webmasters, but you are also welcome to use our templates:

Dear Webmaster,

I came across your website and found that we could exchange links with you. I hope you know that it is the key to higher rankings in search engines.

Currently I’m promoting the website closely related to your subject. I can offer you backlinks from my prN (N=page pr) page (here you should describe the advantages of your website, e.g. very old site, .edu backlinks etc). Please check this page – http://yousite.com/partners.html.

Please let me know if you would be interested in pursuing this conversation further. I look forward to hear from you soon.

3. Add partner`s link. If you get the positive response, add partner`s link to the corresponding page of your website and send the second letter (also may use our template):

Hi! Thanks for your reply!

Your link is live here: http://yousite.com/partners.html. Please check it.

Use link code below for linking back:

You Website Name - You website description.

Please let me know when my link is live (I’ll be waiting for your reply for 7 days).

4. Add record to your link exchange report file. Keeping records about all link exchange operations you performed is necessary for regular verifying the presence of your backlinks at the partners` websites.
