Are the Yahoo Answers really effective for generating website traffic? This question is very popular among the fellowship of internet marketers. But it is not quite correct formulation of the question. Better to say – what strategy should we use to make the Yahoo Answers bring a lot of traffic for our website. And I`m going to describe this simple strategy below.
Let`s start of several simple rules we must follow to be successful in using Yahoo Answers:
- Make your answer exactly what the people who ask want to know. In that case your answer has good chances to be checked as the best answer and thus the source website (your website specified as the source below your answer) will get more traffic than other answers.
- Constantly track the new Open Questions of your category to be first to answer the question, where you are competent.
- Use any resources your have to answer as many questions as you can. If you don`t know the definite answer, you can use Google for example. Actually there are many ways to find needed answers.
- Create something like the schedule of answering. E.g. post 15 answers every day.
- Don`t forget to put your website url as the source of information.
And now I`m going to describe the definite process of Yahoo “Answering”:
1. Sign in or sign up in Yahoo;
2. Go to http://answers.yahoo.com/;
3. Click the Answer link;
4. Click the Advanced Search;
5. Put your niche keyword into the Keyword box, select your Category, select the Question Status (you need exactly Open Questions!!!) and push the Search button;
6. Find any question to answer in search result and click the title;
7. And at last – Answer))).
