Today I`m going to talk about Google ranking factors. You might know there are plenty of them and there is a lot of information on each of factors at the SEO related forums and blogs. But below you may find the generalization of these factors in the form of Google ranking factors list. This list will be especially useful for SEO newbies to make them see the “general map” of ranking algorithms.

1. Keyword in page content: text, headers (h1,h2…,h6);
2. Keyword in metatags: title (especially in the first words of this tag), description, keywords;
3. Keyword use into the root domain name and page name url;
4. Keyword use into internal and external links anchors;
5. Uniqueness of the on page content;
6. The website update frequency;
7. Quality and quantity of external links to domain and to the specific page;
8. Anchor text of external and internal links;

12. Specific page and whole website trust rank;
13. Specific page PR;
14. Page level in the website hierarchy;
