Any kind: starting the SEO company, selling your own online products, developing the web service and so on – everything that could be called the online business.
At the first glance it may seem that you don`t need much money to setup your online business. For example what do you need to start your own SEO company? Just hire several people (you may even work with the freelancers), buy several SEO software solutions and provide some money for advertising. Do you think you need just about 5000$ US dollars for that? If you do, you unlikely be successful with your business.
Firstly you must have at least 10000$ US dollars and be ready to work several months without getting any income. Because if you don`t hire the professional seonies (the professionals will cost you pretty much) your personal will need to learn a lot of things and to get a lot of skills to become really effective in SEO practice. And working with the freelancers is too risky because they are very “unstable” workers.

The same situation is about developing any software to sell it through internet. The problem is that involving the professional programmers to develop it for you is too expensive, but when you hire junior programmers, you`ll just get a lot of bugs and in any case you`ll need to invest more time and also more money to make the software work like it must work.
Actually, I don`t want to say that online business is too difficult to start, but you must understand, that your preliminary budget estimation must be VERY VERY accurate and you should always have 2 times more money than it seems firstly you need for the budget.

Hey Siteownersforums buddy. I totally agree with your post. In my case I didn’t spend any money, though I spent 2 years researching on the Internet before creating my own website, AND after creating and publishing it, it took more than 1 year to acquire a decent traffic.
SO for the begginer a budget really is necessary. Also knowing how to propperly spend it.
