Crazy-jumping prices of the SEO world

crazy-seo-prices

Based on my SEO experience I can definitely say, that SEO marketplace is one, where several different vendors can offer you the same product for significantly different prices. SEOnies usually buying links or domains at Digitalpoint Forums should know what is that all about.

As example I can remember one link deal which I recently performed. I was looking for PR2-3 websites from the insurance niche. After starting threads at http://forums.digitalpoint.com/ and http://www.textlinksforum.com/ I`ve got about 25-30 offers from link vendors. Here I should mark, that among all those offers appeared 3 ones including almost the same set of websites (link resellers working just fine))). But the funny thing was that first vendor offered me PR3 monthly link for 4$, the second one – for 8$ and the third one for 15$! I hope you already understood which one I was buying from)))

You may be surprised but I know people, who buy the same type of link I was buying, but for the highest price. Now you can imagine how profitable can be link reseller`s business))).

But forget about links and switch your attention to the domain marketplace. That is where really crazy vendors “live”. The ordinary case is to see here domain bought several weeks ago for 200-300$ and now being sold for 2000-3000$ (though even the first price was too high).

Looking at this situation the main question to appear is – Can we somehow avoid being fooled by vendors, selling us links, domains (or any other SEO marketplace products) for prices, which are overstated? Now I will tell you how I solved this problem for myself. For several months I was working in the same SEO niche. Each link offer I was getting I added to my “database”, including the main SEO parameters (PR, OBL, age) of the vendor`s website and it`s price. Thus I collected about 170 link sell offers. Then I averaged the prices for websites with somehow the same parameters. Eventually I was getting the excellent table, where for website with any SEO parameters I could fast find the average market price. By the way my table with standardized prices turned to be very good argument for getting discounts from link vendors.

One more thing I can offer you to save money buying links, is that you should try to look for bulk vendors. Bulk deals will save you some money and a lot of time.

I hope this blogpost will help you solve the problem of SEO prices chaos and make your link building campaigns much more effective, cheaper and less time consuming.
