SEO strategy – 500 visitors a day for 3 months

Recently I published many useful articles, but most of them concerned just narrow SEO related topics. They seem to be a set of cubes, which must be put all together to create the single pyramid. But what is the “pyramid” in the SEO context? You might already guess it is the entire SEO strategy – the set of steps to accomplish to get SEO effect (expressed in improving website ranking and increasing it`s search engine traffic).

So right now I`m going to put the “cubes” together to show you my SEO strategy. Usually if I use it for the website at least half a year old (already indexed with Google, but having just a few backlinks), it gives me minimum 500 visitors a day increase in 3 months of work with the website.

So let`s start with the strategy. It`s steps are listed below.

1. First, let`s define what keywords are we going to target through our SEO campaign. Actually, if you will get traffic for useless keywords, all your SEO will have no sense. So find the keywords, which are going to lead to your websites exactly those visitors, who might be interested in your product or service.

2. Find less-competitive keywords. I described this process in my article on keyword competition analysis.

3. When you already have found the set of targeted less-competitive keywords, you can start optimizing your website for them and build links to get high positions for these keywords.

4. About optimization: the ideal SEO is one keyword (keyword phrase) – one page. So you have to create one page for each of your keywords and optimize each page exactly for its keyword. The optimization must match the Google ranking factors. (You should understand that it is not necessary to create all pages for all keywords at the same time. Actually better if it will be a gradual process – one page a day.)

5. Then you have to create you linkbuilding strategy. Usually it has two components – static and dynamic. Static includes standard linkbuilding techniques, that are useful for any website, and Dynamic includes the linkbuilding techniques based on the competitors backlinks analysis.

5.1 Static linkbuilding component: use free linkbuidling methods like press releases submission, dofollow blogs commenting, dofollow forums posting, article submission, 3 way link exchange, video submission and many many other methods. You may take just several of these methods and combine them as you want, but there are to general tips for make them really useful for improving your rankings. Firstly – don`t create too many free links at once (first weeks of work – let it be 20-30 backlinks and then you can increase their number), secondly – be methodical, create your own everyday plan of free linkbuilding and try always to perform it).

5.2 Dynamic linkbuilding component: first implement the competitors backlinks analysis. Then you will see what exactly backlinks do you need to achieve TOP positions for the definite keyword phrase. The tips for your linkbuilding “activity” are quite similar as in the case of static linkbuidling component, but here you should remember one more thing: sometimes to reach TOP in a short time you`ll have to purchase links. Actually it is no the best linkbuilding strategy, but if there no other ways – I should purchase just links, that seem natural to Google, avoiding purchased links symptoms.

Using this strategy you`ll be able to get 500 visitors a day increase in 3 months of work with the website.
